Mackenzie and Khesanio first went public with their relationship on social media in January 2023. After nearly two years of dating, Khesanio popped the question in May 2024 with a surprise proposal.

The engagement was deeply meaningful for Mackenzie. Khesanio flew in her father and sisters to be part of the moment, and he included a private, thoughtful tribute to Mackenzie’s late mother, Angie Douthit, who passed away from cancer in 2019. Mackenzie publicly praised Khesanio, calling him her “best friend” and “the most amazing human on earth,” noting how smoothly he stepped in to help raise her three older children: Gannon, Jaxie, and Broncs.

It’s estimated that Mackenzie’s ring cost around $6,000.
