After tumultuous early relationships, Jenelle welcomed her second son, Kaiser, with Nathan Griffith in 2014, and later her daughter, Ensley, with David Eason in 2017.

Her marriage to Eason marked one of the most fraught eras of her public life. Following a series of highly publicized incidents—most notably Eason shooting the family dog in 2019—MTV severed ties with both of them.
