The MTV reality show “Teen Mom” has been a cultural touchstone for viewers since it first aired, shining a spotlight on the challenges and triumphs of young mothers. Two of its most well-known personalities, Catelynn Baltierra and Farrah Abraham, have experienced vastly different journeys, both during and after their time on the series.

Catelynn Baltierra (née Lowell) first came into the public eye on “16 and Pregnant” in 2009. Alongside her partner Tyler Baltierra, she made the difficult decision to place their daughter Carly for adoption.

Fans quickly realized that she is speaking about her ex co-star, Catelynn Baltierra.
