In 2012, Abraham released her debut memoir, My Teenage Dream Ended, which reached The New York Times Bestseller list. The book detailed her early personal experiences, including navigating teenage pregnancy, coping with public scrutiny, and dealing with the loss of her child’s father, Derek Underwood, who died shortly before their daughter Sophia was born.
Alongside her memoir, she released a companion studio album of the same title, which has since been discussed as a unique piece of outsider pop music. She has also authored subsequent books spanning personal growth, fictional works, and parenting topics.
