When MTV launched 16 and Pregnant and its subsequent spin-off Teen Mom (later Teen Mom: The Next Chapter), viewers were given an intimate look into the lives of young mothers navigating early adulthood. Among the original cast members who rose to public prominence was Anderson, Indiana native Amber Portwood.

Over the course of nearly two decades on television, Portwood’s journey has made her one of the most visible figures in modern reality programming.

Amber’s new man

Although she hasn’t officially revealed her new man, Amber thinks he’s just dandy.

“My boyfriend— who I’ve been with for almost a year now— he’s my anchor” Amber revealed on her YouTube channel.

“She says this about every single one of them and then they runaway and hide from her” one fan commented.
