Kaiser was born in June 2014 to Jenelle and her then-fiancé, Nathan Griffith. From his infancy, Kaiser’s life was documented by MTV’s cameras, backdropped by volatile relationships. Following his parents’ bitter split, Kaiser was thrust into a toxic environment on the North Carolina property infamously dubbed “The Swamp,” raised alongside his step-siblings under the care of Jenelle and her now-estranged husband, David Eason.

Over the years, viewers and family members raised alarm bells regarding Kaiser’s well-being. In 2019, Jenelle temporarily lost custody of Kaiser and her other children after Eason allegedly shot and killed the family’s French bulldog.
