Home Alone is a beloved holiday film franchise that began with the original movie released in 1990. Created by John Hughes and directed by Chris Columbus, the series revolves around the adventures and misadventures of clever kids left unsupervised during the holiday season.
The original Home Alone is the most beloved among all of the movies. It stars Macaulay Culkin as Kevin McCallister, an eight-year-old boy accidentally left behind when his family leaves for a Christmas vacation in Paris. Kevin must defend his home from two hapless burglars, Harry and Marv, using a series of creative booby traps.
True sequel incoming?

The Home Alone actor Macaulay Culkin recently revealed that he has an amazing sequel idea: “I’m either a widower or a divorcee. I’m raising a kid and all that stuff. I’m working really hard and I’m not really paying enough attention and the kid is kind of getting miffed at me and then I get locked out. [My son] won’t let me in… and he’s the one setting traps for me.”
Macaulay’s script idea made rounds online, with fans pleading movie studios to make it reality.
